I tried it. I had to dry it more than the instructions said, but that could be my dryer!:) Can't wait to do it again.

I always wash my projects before "gifting" them because I have dogs in the house and for the softness factor too.
Red Heart yarn is funny that way...Every white skim I buy is soft as can be..but gray or yellow is rough....I wonder why? Thanks for sharing this idea, will have to try!!
