Finally...

It's finished!!!
Seem like I've been working on this blanket FOREVER.
I know it's been well over a year...
A labor of love for Sophia.
Here's a little something created by Sophie while I hooked away on these happy squares. ♥
Aren't they perfect together?!
I finished with a simple shell boarder. Two rounds of single crochets and then a round of 5 double crochet shells. You can find the pattern for this happy colorful square here and a bit of the story that goes along with this blanket here and here.

Isabel is already asking when I will be starting her blanket.
It must be absolutely perfect! This week I would LOVE if you posted a photo of your blanket on Tangled Happy's Facebook page. Inspire me! Pretty please...

  23. This is beautiful! I am going attempt to make a granny blanket soon - I think I'll use yours as inspiration. and I'm sure it will take me AT LEAST a year. Probably more. In fact, I might have it done to give my daughter when she goes to college... she's currently 11 months old. :)
