Granny Stripe Legwarmers

Oh so cute granny wear!
I'm loving these...
Granny Stripe Legwarmers!
Wear them tied above the knee...
Or scrunched down for a casual look.
These are super simple to make.
And could match any outfit.
Maybe add pom poms for extra cuteness!
They look adorable with dresses and could be paired perfectly with skinny jeans.

So go ahead, be brave.
Add some granny wear to your fall wardrobe.
Here's the how to...

Size: This pattern is written to fit approximately ages 7/8.
(Sizes may be adjusted up or down by simply measuring around the child's leg above the knee. Make your starting chain about an inch shorter than the measurement. The initial chain must be devisable by 3 plus 1. Then work the pattern adding or subtracting stitches to achieve the desired size. For length measure from above the knee to the ankle. Work the pattern until the desired length is achieved.)

STITCH COMBINATIONS:
Shell is " work 3 dc in same st or sp."
Beginning Shell is "work ch 3, 2 dc in same st or sp."

  6. Thanks Tabby! These are my favorite of the two legwarmers. Working with all those loose ends sometimes makes me a bit crazy. And I completely adore granny stripes! I would love to see your finished project if you decide to make them. Happy Wednesday!
