Kids Learn To Crochet

Do you have little people at home that want to learn to crochet?
My girls love sitting and being creative and really, really, really wanted to learn to crochet. This book, Kids Learn to Crochet, has been a wonderful help in teaching them crochet basics. It's also full of fun kid friendly projects with easy to follow directions.
We started out working on our chain stitch. We practiced and practiced until it was just right and then moved on to single crochets. While practicing this new stitch Isabel somehow ended up working in rounds and accidentally on purpose created this tiny pouch where she now keeps her tiny shells safely tucked away on her bookshelf.
Feeling confident in her single crochets she was ready to tackle her first pattern from the book. Stripy Stu! He's our new all time favorite softie.
The best part about teaching little people to crochet...
Sharing some hooky time with my two favorite girls. Feeling like a really lucky mama!
