Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend with the people you love. Here's how my weekend got started. :)
I was so excited when I popped by The Royal Sisters and saw Michelle's colorful version of the Granny Stripe Boutique Bag. Isn't it amazing how you can start with a basic pattern and it becomes something unique that is your very own. You can see more of her fabulous grannyness here.
Oh and her Granny Square Apron... To die for. I loved that she called this simple apron the epitome of granny goodness. Find more of Michelle's apron inspiration here and here.
The Royal Sisters has a wonderfully vintage, homey feel. Filled with lots and lots of granny inpiration.

Lovely. I made one very similar last year, it was for my sister to keep her "satnav" in, I lined it and padded it and she loves it.
ReplyDeleteIt is on my Ravelry project page. http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Dansnanna/satnav-bag.
I too love the variations of a stitch/style, for me it all started with the Attic24 Granny stripe blanket.

Thank you so much Sara for your very sweet words...
ReplyDeleteYour patterns are just full of granny goodness...something that I truly admire...
I finished another boutique bag and this time I made it extra long and it now fits a e-book perfectly..
It was just the right present for my step daughter when she arrived home tonight...
I think I could be making more by the end of the week...
