Super Simple Pom Pom

Remember the Basic Baby Beanie I posted on Friday? Well I couldn't make just one. I love how they turned out! I especially love the stripety one. This pattern it is so simple and works up very quickly.
The stripety one was just screaming for a pom pom. My pom pom attempts in the past have been unsuccessful. But this one turned out perfectly! DOMESTIFLUFF is sharing a wonderfully photographed tutorial on how to make this super simple pom pom. All you will need is your yarn of choice and scissors. Find the tutorial here.

  1. Cute hats! I love the flowers she does! That's pretty much how I do pom poms, but I have a pom pom maker for small ones and I always think they look better. I'm just to cheap to buy a bigger one ;) I think I just don't wrap enough yarn for the bigger ones. Guess I need to make some flowers just so I can practice =)

  5. Thanks for posting the link to the Baby Beanies and the pom poms. Just found out I'm going to be a grandmother again in October--times 2! Both my daughter and my daughter-in-law are pregnant. These little beanies will make a perfect item for me to add to the layettes I am beginning to make.

  7. Hi Paula! I used Lion Brand Baby First yarn. It is super soft and really thick so it works up rather quickly. Hope that helps! Thanks for your nice comment. Really sweet!
