Swirly Twirly Scarf

I made three of these Swirly Twirly Scarves as Christmas gifts. They are waiting to be wrapped and hopefully will be loved by the recipients as much as I love them. Maize Hutton is sharing this beautiful scarf. These are very simple and work up quickly. Still time to make a few before Christmas. Find the pattern here.

  1. That scarf is so beautiful and looks preety easy even for a newbie like me. Thank you for the post and link.
    Have a wonderful day,

  2. How pretty, these scarves will be loved! Thanks for posting the link.

  3. Meredith it is easy! And they are so pretty. I think after Christmas I will make a few for myself. :)

  4. Lovely to see you here today Glor! I think they will be well loved. As always happy to be sharing so many wonderful links.

  5. Thank you so much for your comment in my blog. I was so pleased to hear that you like my pink and orange "muckla". He´s a favourite of mine too. I use him in my job as a pre school teacher, as a help when I teach the alphabet and numbers to the children. The pattern is my own, so maybe I´ll post it in the blog later.
I check out your blog almost every day now, I really like it with all your tips about patterns and all the inspiring pictures.

  6. Hello again Kat. So happy to hear you are enjoying Tangled Happy! I would love to share the pattern for "muckla" here. So let me know if you decide to post it. That is so cool that he is used as a aid in teaching your preschoolers. I have one in preschool now and know that she would love him!

  7. I made 5 of these scarves since you posted and am onto my 6th! (My wrist is feeling it!) Love them, and I know they are going to be a huge hit!
I'm also going to try out those great gift card pouches above!
SO happy I've found your blog!

  8. I started making one of these on Christmas Eve and it's really, really easy so thank you for posting the link. Unfortunately I didn't buy enough wool so have had to stop halfway until I can get back to the shop but it's going to be lovely. I will probably make a few during 2011 to use as presents for next xmas.

  9. Thanks for posting my tutorial! I really appreciate it. I just posted my first hat pattern-- $2 Crocheted Cloche if you wanna check it out.http://maizehutton.blogspot.com/2011/02/2-crocheted-clochemy-first-hat-pattern.html
